वसुरुवाच । क्रोधस्त्यक्तो मया देवि ब्रह्मणो वचनादथ । गतिं ते कारयिष्यामि तीर्थस्नानादिकर्मणा ॥ ४२ ॥
vasuruvāca | krodhastyakto mayā devi brahmaṇo vacanādatha | gatiṃ te kārayiṣyāmi tīrthasnānādikarmaṇā || 42 ||
Wika ni Vasu: “O Diyosa, sa utos ni Brahmā ay tinalikdan ko na ang galit. Aking titiyakin ang iyong mapalad na pag-akyat sa mas mataas na kalagayan sa pamamagitan ng mga ritwal gaya ng pagligo sa mga banal na tīrtha at iba pang itinakdang gawain.”
