Narrator (Purāṇic narration within the Uttara-Bhāga; specific speaker not explicit in this shloka)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shringara
Secondary Rasa: vira
It frames a dharma-narrative moment: a righteous journey begins (mounted together), and the forthcoming counsel or instruction is introduced through the lady’s speech to the king.
Indirectly: it sets the narrative stage for teachings that typically culminate in pilgrimage merit and devotion; the verse itself emphasizes attentive listening to timely counsel, a key disposition in bhakti-oriented Purāṇic stories.
No specific Vedāṅga (like Vyākaraṇa, Jyotiṣa, or Kalpa) is taught in this verse; it is a narrative connector introducing dialogue and travel within a tirtha-mahātmya context.
