जायते च पुराणेभ्यस्तस्मात्तानीह देवताः । सर्ववेदार्थसाराणि पुराणानीति भूपते ॥ ९७ ॥

Transliteration

jāyate ca purāṇebhyastasmāttānīha devatāḥ | sarvavedārthasārāṇi purāṇānīti bhūpate || 97 ||

Translation

At tunay na mula sa mga Purāṇa ay nahahayag ang mga deva (at ang kaalaman tungkol sa kanila); kaya, O hari, ang mga Purāṇa rito ang siyang buod ng kahulugan ng lahat ng Veda.
