The Greatness of the Gaṅgā
Gaṅgāmāhātmya
सूत उवाच । भगवद्भक्तिमाहात्म्यं श्रुत्वा प्रीतस्तु नारदः । पुनः पप्रच्छ सनकं ज्ञानविज्ञानपारगम् ॥ १ ॥
sūta uvāca | bhagavadbhaktimāhātmyaṃ śrutvā prītastu nāradaḥ | punaḥ papraccha sanakaṃ jñānavijñānapāragam || 1 ||
Sinabi ni Sūta: Nang marinig ang kadakilaan ng bhakti sa Mapalad na Panginoon, si Nārada ay napuspos ng galak at muling nagtanong kay Sanaka, na nakaabot na sa kabilang pampang ng kaalaman at ganap na karunungan.
