Kaya nga, ipahayag mo sa akin kung paano natatanto ang Brahman gaya ng pagkaunawa ng gurong naliwanagan, upang ang aking isip—na ngayo’y lumulubog—ay muling maging matatag at mapayapa.
Narada (addressing Sanatkumara)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: karuna (compassion)
Secondary Rasa: shanta (peace)
It presents the seeker’s essential request: true realization of Brahman as taught by an awakened guru, specifically for restoring inner steadiness when the mind falls into despair.
While the verse emphasizes Brahma-jñāna, it aligns with Bhakti’s core need for guidance: surrendering one’s confusion to a realized teacher so the heart-mind becomes steady and fit for devotion and contemplation.
No specific Vedanga (Śikṣā, Vyākaraṇa, Chandas, Nirukta, Jyotiṣa, Kalpa) is taught in this verse; the practical takeaway is guru-upadeśa—learning the correct method of realization to stabilize the mind.
