कर्मश्रद्धाविहीना ये पाषंडा वेदनिंदकाः । अधर्मनिरता नैव नरकार्हा हरिस्मृतेः ॥ ५ ॥
karmaśraddhāvihīnā ye pāṣaṃḍā vedaniṃdakāḥ | adharmaniratā naiva narakārhā harismṛteḥ || 5 ||
Ang mga ereheng walang pananampalataya sa banal na tungkulin, nanlalait sa mga Veda, at nalulubog sa kawalang-dharma—sa pag-alaala kay Hari, hindi na sila karapat-dapat sa impiyerno (nalalaya sa gayong tadhana).

It asserts the extraordinary purifying power of Hari-smṛti (remembrance of Viṣṇu): even those sunk in adharma and Veda-reviling are not condemned to hell when Hari is truly remembered.
