Bhakti-Śraddhā-Ācāra-Māhātmya and the Commencement of the Mārkaṇḍeya Narrative
एवं देवस्तुतिं श्रुत्वा भगवान्कमलापतिः । प्रत्यक्षतामगात्तेषां शङ्कचत्रगदाधरः ॥ ६४ ॥
evaṃ devastutiṃ śrutvā bhagavānkamalāpatiḥ | pratyakṣatāmagātteṣāṃ śaṅkacatragadādharaḥ || 64 ||
Kaya nga, nang marinig ng Mapalad na Panginoon—ang Kamalāpati, kabiyak ni Śrī Lakṣmī—ang kanilang himno ng papuri sa mga deva, Siya’y nagpakita sa harap nila, tagapagdala ng sankha, cakra, at gada.
