Bhakti-Śraddhā-Ācāra-Māhātmya and the Commencement of the Mārkaṇḍeya Narrative
जय देवाधिदेवेश जय शङ्खगदाधर । जयो लोकस्वरुपाय जयो ब्रह्माण्डहेतवे ॥ ५६ ॥
jaya devādhideveśa jaya śaṅkhagadādhara | jayo lokasvarupāya jayo brahmāṇḍahetave || 56 ||
Tagumpay sa Iyo, O Panginoon ng mga diyos, Kataas-taasang Diyos! Tagumpay sa Iyo, may hawak ng kabibe at pamalo. Tagumpay sa Iyo na siyang anyo ng mga daigdig; tagumpay sa Iyo na siyang sanhi ng brahmāṇḍa, ang kosmikong itlog ng sansinukob.
