सुषुत्पिवत्परानन्दयुक्तश्चोपरतेन्द्रियः । निर्वातदीपवत्संस्थः समाधिरभिधीयते ॥ ४३ ॥
suṣutpivatparānandayuktaścoparatendriyaḥ | nirvātadīpavatsaṃsthaḥ samādhirabhidhīyate || 43 ||
Kapag ang tao ay tila nasa mahimbing na tulog, ngunit nakaugnay sa sukdulang kaligayahan; kapag tumigil ang mga pandama sa paglabas, at ang isip ay matatag na gaya ng lampara sa lugar na walang hangin—ang kalagayang iyon ay tinatawag na samādhi.
