Narada Purana — Purva Bhaga, Shloka 56

Śrāddha-prayoga: Niyama, Brāhmaṇa-parīkṣā, Kutapa-kāla, Tithi-nyāya, and Vaiṣṇava-phala

तच्छेष विप्रपात्रेषु विकिरेत्संस्मरन्हरिम् । भक्ष्यैर्भोज्यैश्च लेह्यैश्च स्वाद्यैर्विप्रान्प्रपूजयत् ॥ ५६ ॥

taccheṣa viprapātreṣu vikiretsaṃsmaranharim | bhakṣyairbhojyaiśca lehyaiśca svādyairviprānprapūjayat || 56 ||

Sa pag-alaala kay Hari, ipamahagi ang mga natirang handog sa mga sisidlan ng mga brāhmaṇa, at parangalan din ang mga brāhmaṇa sa pamamagitan ng mga pagkaing nginunguya, kinakain, dinidilaan, at hinihigop.
