Gṛhastha-nitya-karman: Śauca, Sandhyā-vidhi, Pañca-yajña, and Āśrama-krama
अमृतापिधानमसि भोज्यान्तेऽपः सकृत्पिबेत् । प्राणाद्या आहुतीर्दत्त्वाचम्य भोजनमाचरेत् ॥ ८२ ॥
amṛtāpidhānamasi bhojyānte'paḥ sakṛtpibet | prāṇādyā āhutīrdattvācamya bhojanamācaret || 82 ||
Sa pagbigkas ng: “Ikaw ang pagtabon ng amṛta,” sa dulo ng pagkain ay sumipsip ng tubig nang minsan. Pagkaraan, ialay ang mga āhuti na nagsisimula sa (mantra ng) Prāṇa, magsagawa ng ācamana, at tapusin nang wasto ang ritwal ng pagkain.

It sacralizes eating as a disciplined rite: the meal is sealed with mantra, purified by ācamana, and harmonized through prāṇāhuti—linking nourishment to prāṇa and inner purity.
By treating even ordinary acts like eating as offerings and mantra-infused discipline, it supports bhakti through constant remembrance and reverent conduct rather than mere ritualism.
Kalpa (ritual procedure) and śikṣā/mantra-prayoga are implied: correct sequencing—mantra utterance, single sip, prāṇa-related offerings, then ācamana—defines proper daily ācāra.
