Gṛhastha-praveśa: Vivāha-bheda, Ācāra-śauca, Śrāddha-kāla, and Vaiṣṇava-lakṣaṇa
पूज्यं देवालयं चैव नापसव्यं व्रजेद्दिजः । देवार्चाचमनस्नानव्रतश्राद्धक्रियादिषु ॥ २४ ॥
pūjyaṃ devālayaṃ caiva nāpasavyaṃ vrajeddijaḥ | devārcācamanasnānavrataśrāddhakriyādiṣu || 24 ||
Ang dvija (dalawang ulit na isinilang) ay hindi dapat umikot sa isang kagalang-galang na tao o sa templo sa di-mabuting kaliwang-ikot (apāsavya). Nalalapat ito sa pagsamba sa mga diyos, ācamanā (paglilinis sa pag-inom ng tubig), pagligo, pagtalima sa vrata, mga ritong śrāddha, at iba pang gawaing pang-ritwal.
