Dharmopadeśa-Śānti: Rules of Impurity, Expiations, and Ancestor Rites
अकृत्वा वपनं तेषां प्रायश्चित्तं विनिर्द्दिशेत् । केशानां रक्षणार्थं च द्विगुणं व्रतमादिशेत् ॥ ५३ ॥
akṛtvā vapanaṃ teṣāṃ prāyaścittaṃ vinirddiśet | keśānāṃ rakṣaṇārthaṃ ca dviguṇaṃ vratamādiśet || 53 ||
Kung hindi nila naisagawa ang pag-aahit ng buhok (tonsure), dapat itakda para sa kanila ang prāyaścitta (pagsisisi at pagtubos); at upang mapangalagaan ang buhok, ipag-utos ang isang panatang-vrata na isasagawa nang doble.
