Narada
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It teaches that offering sacred sound—playing instruments as service in a deity’s temple—is a meritorious act (seva) that yields an exalted post-mortem attainment, described here as reaching Brahmā’s abode.
It frames music in the temple as devotional service: when sound is offered for the deity’s worship rather than personal display, it becomes bhakti expressed through nāda (sacred sound) and leads to spiritual upliftment.
Ritual practice is emphasized—proper temple service (upacāra/sevā) through auspicious sound; while not a technical Vedāṅga lesson, it aligns with disciplined worship protocols where music supports yajña-like pūjā performance.
