स तप्यति तपस्त्वद्य पर्वते गंधमादने । त्वद्वियोगेन खिन्नात्मा तं प्रसादय मत्प्रियम् ॥ ७३ ॥
sa tapyati tapastvadya parvate gaṃdhamādane | tvadviyogena khinnātmā taṃ prasādaya matpriyam || 73 ||
Hanggang ngayon ay nagsasagawa pa rin siya ng tapas sa Bundok Gandhamādana. Dahil sa pagkawalay sa iyo, nababagabag ang kanyang puso—kaya maawa ka sa kanya, sapagkat siya’y mahal sa akin.
