Jyotiṣa-saṅgraha: Varga-vibhāga, Bala-nirṇaya, Garbha-phala, Āyuḥ-gaṇanā
केदारोत्थः कृषिकरः शूले शूरोक्षतो धनः । युगं पाषंडयुर्गोले विधनो मलिनस्तथा ॥ १९६ ॥
kedārotthaḥ kṛṣikaraḥ śūle śūrokṣato dhanaḥ | yugaṃ pāṣaṃḍayurgole vidhano malinastathā || 196 ||
Ipinanganak sa Kedāra, siya’y nabubuhay sa pagsasaka; sa “śūla” (trident), siya’y isang matapang na mandirigma ngunit sugatan, at sa usaping yaman ay nagiging mayaman. Ngunit sa panahong hitik sa erehiya at kaguluhan, siya’y nagiging salat at gayundin ay nadudungisan ang asal.
