Sage Narada (teaching the Sanatkumara brothers in a technical Vedanga context)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It frames karma-phala as nuanced: even a weakened graha can still deliver auspicious outcomes when supported by dignities like own sign, exaltation, trine, or friendly placement—encouraging balanced judgment rather than fatalism.
Indirectly, it supports bhakti-informed discernment: worldly conditions may be mixed, yet favorable supports can still arise; a devotee acts steadily in dharma, without despair, trusting that supportive factors can mature into good results.
Vedanga Jyotisha: assessing a planet’s capacity to give results through dignity (own sign/exaltation), trinal support, and friendship—yielding a “moderately good” outcome even when other strength indicators are weak.
