Jyotiṣa-saṅgraha: Varga-vibhāga, Bala-nirṇaya, Garbha-phala, Āyuḥ-gaṇanā
तदंशः स्वाग्नयो भक्ता लब्धोनोभूर्गुणो भवेत् । यदैकाल्यं तदास्तांशाः स्वाग्र्याप्तोना च भूर्गुणः ॥ १३१ ॥
tadaṃśaḥ svāgnayo bhaktā labdhonobhūrguṇo bhavet | yadaikālyaṃ tadāstāṃśāḥ svāgryāptonā ca bhūrguṇaḥ || 131 ||
Kung ang bahaging iyon ay tinatanggap ng sariling mga sagradong apoy at ng mga tumatanggap na may bhakti, ang kabutihang-loob ay hindi gaanong lumalago. Ngunit kapag inihandog bilang iisang pinagbuklod na gawain (aikālya), ang mga bahaging iyon ay umaabot sa pinakadakila, at ang gantimpala ay tunay na dumarami nang malaki.
