इष्टैः पलैस्तदूनाढ्यं व्यगावूनेऽर्कषङ्गुणः । तदन्यथाधिके तस्मिन्नेवं स्पष्टे सुखांत्यगे ॥ १५७ ॥

Transliteration

iṣṭaiḥ palaistadūnāḍhyaṃ vyagāvūne'rkaṣaṅguṇaḥ | tadanyathādhike tasminnevaṃ spaṣṭe sukhāṃtyage || 157 ||

Translation

Kapag ang itinakdang bilang ng pala ay kulang o sobra, ang bunga ay nagiging may kapintasan ayon dito; at kapag ang kakulangan ay umabot sa isang vyagāva, ang resulta ay pinararami sa salik ng Araw na anim. Kung sa halip ay sobra, binabago ang resulta nang naaayon—ganito inilahad nang malinaw ang pagtutuos, na nagtatapos sa paglalaan ng ginhawa (makalupang bunga).
