त्रिभद्युकर्णार्द्धगुणा स्वाहोरात्रार्द्धभाजिताः । क्रमादेकद्वित्रिभघाज्या तच्चापानि पृथक् पृथक् ॥ १४५ ॥
tribhadyukarṇārddhaguṇā svāhorātrārddhabhājitāḥ | kramādekadvitribhaghājyā taccāpāni pṛthak pṛthak || 145 ||
Ang mga yunit na ito ay kinukuwenta sa pagkuha ng tatlong bahagi, paglalapat ng pampadaming “kalahati-ng-karṇa,” at saka paghahati sa kalahati ng sariling araw-at-gabi. Sa wastong ayos, lumilitaw ang sukat na “gha” na isa-, dalawa-, at tatluhan; at ang katapat na mga bahagi nito ay dapat panatilihing magkakahiwalay, bawat isa sa sarili nito.
