Anukramaṇī

प्रक्रियाख्योऽनुषंगाख्य उपोद्घातस्तृतीयकः । चतुर्थ उपसंहारः पादाश्चत्वार एव हि ॥ २ ॥

prakriyākhyo'nuṣaṃgākhya upodghātastṛtīyakaḥ | caturtha upasaṃhāraḥ pādāścatvāra eva hi || 2 ||

Ang unang bahagi ay tinatawag na ‘Prakriyā’ (maayos na paglalahad), ang ikalawa ay ‘Anuṣaṅga’ (kaugnay na pagpapatuloy), ang ikatlo ay ‘Upodghāta’ (paunang pambungad), at ang ikaapat ay ‘Upasaṃhāra’ (pangwakas na buod); tunay na may apat na pāda (apat na bahagi).
