द्वापरं द्वे सहस्रे तु वर्षाणां द्वे शते तथा ।
तस्य सन्ध्या समाख्याता द्वे शताब्दे तदंशकः ॥
dvāparaṃ dve sahasre tu varṣāṇāṃ dve śate tathā | tasya sandhyā samākhyātā dve śatābde tadaṃśakaḥ ||
Ang Dvāpara ay dalawang libong (banal) taon, at gayundin ay dalawang daang taon para sa dugtungan. Ang sandhyā nito ay ipinahahayag na dalawang daang taon, at ang sandhyāṃśa ay kasing-sukat niyon.
