Adhyaya 39 — Yoga Discipline: Posture, Breath Control, Sense Withdrawal, and Signs of Attainment
अनुरागी जनो याति परोक्षे गुणकीर्तनम् ।
न बभ्यति च सत्त्वानि सिद्धेर्लक्षणमुत्तमम् ॥
anurāgī jano yāti parokṣe guṇa-kīrtanam /
na babhyati ca sattvāni siddher lakṣaṇam uttamam //
Nagiging mapagmahal ang mga tao at, kahit wala siya, binibigkas pa rin nila ang papuri sa kanyang mga kabutihan. At ang mga nilalang ay hindi natatakot (sa kanya). Ito ang napakahusay na palatandaan ng pagtatamo (siddhi).

Fearlessness in others suggests the yogin’s prāṇa is non-agitating; a stabilized field of mind (citta) is perceived by living beings as ‘abhaya’ (non-threat).
