Adhyaya 35Madālasa’s Instruction on Purity, Impurity, and Corrective Rites (Śauca and Aśauca)

संहतानाञ्च वस्त्राणां प्रोक्षणात् सञ्चयस्य च । वल्कलानामशेषाणामम्बुमृच्छौचमिष्यते ॥

saṃhatānāñ ca vastrāṇāṃ prokṣaṇāt sañcayasya ca | valkalānām aśeṣāṇām ambumṛcchaucam iṣyate ||

Para sa mga kasuotang nakatiklop o nakabalot, at para sa mga naipong imbakan, ang paglilinis ay sa pamamagitan ng pagwiwisik. Para sa lahat ng kasuotang mula sa balat ng punò (valkala), ang paglilinis ay itinakda sa tubig at lupa (luwad).
