Adhyaya 35 — Madālasa’s Instruction on Purity, Impurity, and Corrective Rites (Śauca and Aśauca)
रथ्यागतमविज्ञातं दासवर्गादिनाहृतम् ।
वाक्रप्रशास्तं चिरातीतमनैकान्तरितं लघु ॥
rathyāgatam avijñātaṃ dāsa-vargādināhṛtam /
vākra-praśāstaṃ cirātītam anekāntaritaṃ laghu //
Yaong nagmula sa lansangan, yaong hindi tiyak ang pinagmulan, yaong dinala ng mga alipin at mga katulad nila; yaong pinagtitibay ng mapagkakatiwalaang patotoo, yaong lumipas na ang mahabang panahon, at yaong nahiwalay sa pamamagitan ng maraming pagitan—ang mga ito ay itinuturing na “magagaan” na uri sa pagtatasa ng kadalisayan at dungis.
