Adhyaya 34 — Madālāsā’s Instruction on Sadācāra (Householder Conduct, Purity, and Daily Rites)
सम्यग्गृहाचनं कृत्वा यथास्थानमनुक्रमात् ।
संपूजयेत् ततो वह्निं दद्याच्चैवाहुतीः क्रमात् ॥
samyag gṛhārcanaṃ kṛtvā yathāsthānam anukramāt |
saṃpūjayet tato vahniṃ dadyāc caivāhutīḥ kramāt ||
Pagkatapos maisagawa nang wasto ang pagsamba sa loob ng bahay ayon sa kaayusan at sa mga nararapat na lugar, saka dapat sambahin ang banal na apoy at maghandog ng mga alay nang sunud-sunod.

Dharma is enacted through orderliness and care. The verse emphasizes that ritual is not random devotion but disciplined sequencing—outer order training inner steadiness.

‘Proper place’ and ‘sequence’ point to aligning faculties: body, speech, and mind are ‘placed’ rightly, then offered into the inner fire of awareness through disciplined action.
