Adhyaya 34 — Madālāsā’s Instruction on Sadācāra (Householder Conduct, Purity, and Daily Rites)
स्नायीत चेलवान् प्राज्ञः कटभूमिमुपेत्य च ।
देववेदद्विजातीनां साधुसत्यमहात्मनाम् ॥
snāyīta celavān prājñaḥ kaṭabhūmim upetya ca / devavedadvijātīnāṃ sādhusatyamahātmanām
Ang marunong ay dapat maligo, magsuot ng malinis na kasuotan, at lumapit sa isang angkop na pook na nalinis at pinabanal. Dapat siyang kumilos nang may paggalang sa mga diyos, sa Veda, sa mga dvija (dalawang ulit na isinilang), at sa mga banal—mga taong tapat at may dakilang loob.
