Adhyaya 32 — Rules for Parvana Śrāddha: Foods that Please the Ancestors and Items to Avoid
दद्यात् श्राद्धं त्रयोदश्यां मघासु च यथाविधि । मधुसर्पिः समायुक्तं पायसं दक्षिणायने ॥
dadyāt śrāddhaṃ trayodaśyāṃ maghāsu ca yathāvidhi / madhusarpiḥ samāyuktaṃ pāyasaṃ dakṣiṇāyane
Dapat isagawa ang śrāddha sa ikalabintatlong araw ng buwang lunar, at gayundin kapag namamayani ang konstelasyong Maghā, ayon sa tuntunin. Sa Dakṣiṇāyana (paglalakbay ng araw sa timog), maghandog ng pāyasa (matamis na kaning-gatas) na hinaluan ng pulot at ghee.
