अथ वै धारतराष्ट्रेण प्रयुक्ता ये बहिश्नरा: | मृगयित्वा बहून्‌ ग्रामान्‌ राष्ट्रीणि नगराणि च

Transliteration

atha vai dhārtarāṣṭreṇa prayuktā ye bahiścarāḥ | mṛgayitvā bahūn grāmān rāṣṭrīṇi nagarāṇi ca |

Translation

Sinabi ni Vaiśampāyana: Pagkaraan, ang mga espiya na naglilibot—na ipinadala ng anak ni Dhṛtarāṣṭra (si Duryodhana)—ay nagsiyasat sa maraming nayon, kaharian, at lungsod. Matapos halughugin ang lahat ng kaya nilang puntahan upang makakita ng anumang bakas ng mga Pāṇḍava sa panahon ng kanilang lihim na pamumuhay, natapos nila ang kanilang tungkulin at nagbalik sa Hastināpura.
