ब्राह्मणांस्तोषयेद् यस्तु तुष्यन्ते तस्य देवता: । वचनाच्चापि विप्राणां स्वर्गलोकमवाप्लनुयात्,जो ब्राह्मणोंको संतुष्ट करता है, उसपर सब देवता संतुष्ट रहते हैं। ब्राह्मणोंके वचनसे अर्थात् आशीर्वादसे भी मनुष्य स्वर्गलोक पा सकता है
brāhmaṇāṁs toṣayed yas tu tuṣyante tasya devatāḥ | vacanāc cāpi viprāṇāṁ svargalokam avāpnu yāt ||
Wika ni Mārkaṇḍeya: “Sinumang nagpapasaya sa mga Brāhmaṇa ay nagpapasaya rin sa mga diyos. At sa salita ng mga Brāhmaṇa—sa kanilang pagpapala—maaaring marating ng tao ang daigdig ng langit.”
