काज्चनीं शिरसा बिशभ्रद्‌ भीमसेन: स्रजं शुभाम्‌ पाशखड््‌गधनुष्पाणिरुदैक्षत धनाधिपम्‌,अपने मस्तकपर सुवर्णकी सुन्दर माला धारण किये और हाथोंमें खड्ग, पाश तथा धनुष लिये भीमसेन धनाध्यक्ष कुबेरकी ओर देख रहे थे

Transliteration

kāñcanīṁ śirasā bibhrad bhīmasenaḥ srajaṁ śubhām | pāśa-khaḍga-dhanuṣ-pāṇir udaikṣata dhanādhipam ||

Translation

Sinabi ni Vaiśaṃpāyana: Taglay sa kanyang ulo ang isang marikit na kuwintas na ginto, si Bhīmasena—na may hawak na lubid-panghuli (pāśa), tabak, at busog—ay tumingin sa Panginoon ng Kayamanan, si Kubera. Ipinakikita ng tagpong ito ang disiplinadong kahandaan: kahit sa harap ng banal na tagapagbantay ng yaman, ang tindig ni Bhīma ay mapagmatyag, may pagpipigil, at may malinaw na layon, hindi pag-iimbot.
