Bhīma’s Entry into Kubera’s Nalinī and the Taking of Saugandhika Lotuses (सौगन्धिकोत्पल-ग्रहणम्)
The verse highlights the ethical and practical importance of rightful protection and leadership: when a just and powerful guardian stands with a vulnerable party, their morale and capacity to uphold their cause are strengthened, making victory over adversaries more attainable.
In Vaiśampāyana’s narration, the Pāṇḍavas (or their side) express renewed security and confidence because a mighty protector has aligned with them; they declare that through his tejas (splendor/power) they will be able to defeat their enemies.
