Kṛṣṇa at Duryodhana’s House: Refusal of Hospitality and Departure to Vidura (कृष्णस्य धार्तराष्ट्रनिवेशनगमनम्)
यन्मां वागब्रवीन्नक्तं सूतके सव्यसाचिन: । पुत्रस्ते पृथिवीं जेता यशश्चास्य दिवं स्पृशेत्
yan māṁ vāg abravīn naktaṁ sūtake savyasācinaḥ | putras te pṛthivīṁ jetā yaśaś cāsya divaṁ spṛśet ||
Wika ni Vaiśampāyana: “Noong gabing iyon, habang ako’y nasa silid-panganganak sa oras ng pagsilang ni Savyasācin (Arjuna), isang tinig na makalangit ang nagsalita sa akin: ‘O mapalad na ginang, ang iyong anak ay sasakop sa buong daigdig, at ang kanyang katanyagan ay aabot hanggang sa kalangitan.’”
