सम्यग्वृत्ता: स्वधर्मस्था न कुतश्चिद्‌ भयान्विता: । इस प्रकार राजाके आश्रयमें रहकर सारी प्रजा सदाचारपरायण, अपने-अपने धर्ममें तत्पर और सब ओरसे निर्भय हो जाती है

Transliteration

samyagvṛttāḥ svadharmasthā na kutaścid bhayānvitāḥ |

Translation

Sa pamumuhay sa ilalim ng pag-iingat ng hari, ang buong bayan ay nagiging maayos ang asal at disiplinado, matatag sa kani-kaniyang tungkulin, at walang takot mula sa alinmang panig. Ipinapakita ng taludtod ang gampaning etikal ng paghahari: kapag ang pamamahala’y matuwid at mapagkalinga, kusang umuunlad ang kaayusang panlipunan at ang dharma ng bawat isa, at humuhupa ang pangamba at kawalan ng katiyakan.
