अग्नीषोमोत्पत्तिः

Agni–Soma Origin and the Brahmāgnīṣomīya Doctrine

उदयं ज्योतिषां शश्वत्‌ सोमादीनां करोति यः । अन्तर्देहेषु चोदानं यं वदन्ति मनीषिण:

udayaṁ jyotiṣāṁ śaśvat somādīnāṁ karoti yaḥ | antardeheṣu codānaṁ yaṁ vadanti manīṣiṇaḥ ||

Wika ni Bhīṣma: Siya na walang humpay na nagpapasibol ng pagsikat ng mga tanglaw sa langit—mula sa Buwan—at na tinatawag ng marurunong na daloy ng buhay na Udāna sa loob ng mga may katawan: ang kapangyarihang iyon ang tinutukoy bilang kosmikong hangin na namamahala sa pag-akyat, na nagdurugtong sa hininga ng buhay sa loob at sa kaayusan ng kalangitan sa labas.
