All cosmic change—creation and dissolution—depends on a single supreme source, and the scriptures and great seers consistently direct praise and teaching toward that ultimate reality.
In the Śānti Parva’s instruction on dharma and higher truth, Bhīṣma continues his discourse by identifying the supreme principle behind the world’s cycles, citing the consensus of śāstra and the testimony of the greatest ṛṣis.
