नारद-समङ्ग-संवादः — The Nārada–Samaṅga Dialogue on Fearlessness and Equanimity

अर्था: खलु समृद्धा हि बाढं दु:खं विजानताम्‌ | असमृद्धास्त्वपि सदा मोहयन्त्यविचक्षणान्‌

arthāḥ khalu samṛddhā hi bāḍhaṃ duḥkhaṃ vijānatām | asamṛddhās tv api sadā mohayanty avicakṣaṇān |

Sinabi ni Bhīṣma: “Sa mga tunay na nakauunawa, kahit ang mga bagay at aliw na wari’y sagana ay nakikitang pinagmumulan ng matinding pagdurusa. Ngunit ang walang malinaw na paghatol ay nalilinlang kahit ng munting pag-aari at mumunting ligaya. Itinuturo nito ang panloob na pag-unawa: ang pagnanasa ang nagpapapanginig at nagtatali sa lahat ng aliw, samantalang ang pantas ay tumatagos sa kinang nito at tumutungo sa kalayaang walang pagnanasa.”
