Yoga-kṛtya (योककृत्य) — Vyāsa on Sense-Restraint, Obstacles, and Brahman-Realization
ऋषीणां नामधेयानि याश्च वेदेषु सृष्टय: । नानारूपं च भूतानां कर्मणां च प्रवर्तनम्
ṛṣīṇāṃ nāmadheyāni yāś ca vedeṣu sṛṣṭayaḥ | nānārūpaṃ ca bhūtānāṃ karmaṇāṃ ca pravartanam ||
Sinabi ni Vyāsa: “(Itinuro niya) ang mga pangalan at mga angkan ng mga rishi, at ang iba’t ibang paglalang na inilarawan sa mga Veda; at gayundin ang sari-saring anyo ng mga nilalang, kasama ang paraan kung paanong ang mga gawa (karma) ay pinasisimulan at umaandar.”
