धृतिमानात्मवान् बुद्धि निगृह्लीयादसंशयम् । मनो बुद्धया निगृह्लीयाद् विषयान्मनसा55त्मन:
Translation
Ang taong matalino, matatag, at may pagpipigil-sa-sarili ay dapat, nang walang pag-aalinlangan, pasukuin ang buddhi (paghatol/isip na mapagpasya). Pagkatapos, sa pamamagitan ng buddhi ay pasukuin ang manas (isip), at sa pamamagitan ng manas ay pigilan ang mga pandama sa paghabol sa mga bagay na ninanais, upang mapasailalim ang mga ito sa kanyang kapangyarihan.
