Prahlāda–Indra Saṃvāda: Kartṛtva (Agency) and Svabhāva (Nature) in the Causation of Karma
ज्ञानदग्धपरिक्लेश: प्रयोगरतिरात्मवान् | निष्प्रचारेण मनसा परं तदधिगच्छति
jñānadagdha-parikleśaḥ prayoga-ratir ātmavān | niṣpracāreṇa manasā paraṃ tad adhigacchati ||
Wika ni Bhishma: Ang taong ang mga pagdurusa at pagkapit ay nasunog na ng apoy ng tunay na kaalaman, na nagagalak sa disiplinadong pagsasagawa ng yoga, at may pagpipigil-sa-sarili—ang gayong tao, sa isip na hinugot mula sa paglalagalag palabas, ay nakakamtan ang Kataas-taasang Katotohanan.
भीष्म उवाच
Liberating knowledge, coupled with steady yogic discipline and a mind withdrawn from distractions, destroys inner suffering and leads to realization of the Supreme (Brahman/Paramātman).
