द्यूतेन वज्चितो राजा यत् त्वया सौबलेन च | वने दुःखं च यत् प्राप्तमस्माभिस्त्वत्कृतं महत्
dyūtena vañcito rājā yat tvayā saubalena ca | vane duḥkhaṃ ca yat prāptam asmābhis tvat-kṛtaṃ mahat ||
Wika ni Sañjaya: “Nadaya ang hari sa sugal ng dice dahil sa iyo at kay Śakuni na mula sa angkan ni Subala; at ang malaking pagdurusang dinanas namin sa gubat—iyan man ay dulot din ng iyong ginawa.”
