तमभिद्रुत्य जग्राह क्षितौ चैनमपातयत्
tam abhidrutya jagrāha kṣitau cainam apātayat
Sabi ni Sañjaya: Sumugod siya nang tuwid, sinunggaban ito at inihagis pabagsak sa lupa—isang gawa ng lubos na pananaig ng lakas, na nagpapakita kung paanong sa malupit na karahasan ng gabi, ang pagpipigil at mga tuntunin ng marangal na labanan ay natatabunan ng paghahari ng dahas.
