Vasudeva–Arjuna Dialogue in the Aftermath of Dvārakā
तत्सागरसमप्रख्यं वृष्णिचक्रं महर्थिमत् । उवाह रथिनां श्रेष्ठ: पार्थ: परपुरंजय:,भोज, वृष्णि और अन्धक कुलकी अनाथ स्त्रियोंकी संख्या कई हजारों, लाखों और अर्वुदोंतक पहुँच गयी थी। वे सब द्वारकापुरीसे बाहर निकलीं। वृष्णियोंका वह महान् समृद्धिशाली मण्डल महासागरके समान जान पड़ता था। शत्रुनगरीपर विजय पानेवाले रथियोंमें श्रेष्ठ अर्जुन उसे अपने साथ लेकर चले
tat-sāgara-samaprakhyaṁ vṛṣṇi-cakraṁ mahārthimat | uvāha rathināṁ śreṣṭhaḥ pārthaḥ para-puraṁ-jayaḥ ||
Sinabi ni Vaiśampāyana: Ang makapangyarihang hukbo ng mga Vṛṣṇi, lawak na parang dagat at sagana sa lakas at yaman, ay inihatid pasulong ni Pārtha Arjuna—pinakadakila sa mga mandirigmang may karwahe, manlulupig ng mga kuta ng kaaway. Matapos ang kapahamakan ng mga Yādava, di-mabilang na kababaihan ng mga Bhoja, Vṛṣṇi, at Andhaka, na ngayo’y walang tagapagtanggol, ang lumabas mula sa Dvārakā; at ang kanilang malaking kampo ay wari’y dagat habang sila’y inilalayo ni Arjuna.
