समानो हासि भीष्मेण द्रोणद्रौणिकृपेण च । सव्यसाचिनमायान्तं निवारय महारणे,“तुम भीष्म, द्रोण, अश्वत्थामा तथा कृपाचार्यके समान पराक्रमी हो, अतः इस महासमरमें आक्रमण करते हुए सव्यसाची अर्जुनको रोको
samāno hāsi bhīṣmeṇa droṇadrauṇikṛpeṇa ca | savyasācinam āyāntaṁ nivāraya mahāraṇe ||
Wika ni Arjuna: “Kapantay mo sa giting sina Bhīṣma, Droṇa, ang anak ni Droṇa (Aśvatthāmā), at si Kṛpa. Kaya sa dakilang labang ito, pigilan mo si Savyasācī Arjuna habang siya’y sumusugod upang umatake.”
