Arjuna’s resolve for Karṇa’s defeat

The verse highlights the moral logic that uncontrolled, unrighteous violence is ultimately checked by a higher, steadier power; the simile of a rogue elephant suggests that those who try to dominate through brute force can be abruptly overthrown when confronted by disciplined strength aligned with dharma.
Sañjaya describes a moment of sudden overpowering action: Śrī Kṛṣṇa forcefully shakes his arms and knocks down a group of men, likening the scene to a vicious elephant tossing down its own mahouts at the edge of battle.
