na kiñcid vidur ātmānam ayam asmīti bhārata |
Wika ni Sañjaya: O Bhārata, sa gabing iyon, habang umuugong sa kaguluhan ang nakapanghihilakbot na labanan, wala nang malinaw na maunawaan ang mga mandirigma. Sa gitna ng pagkalito, ni ang sarili nila’y di nila makilala—hindi nila masabi, “Ako ang taong ito.”
संजय उवाच

Sañjaya reports to Dhṛtarāṣṭra that during a terrifying, noisy night engagement, the fighters were so disoriented that they could not recognize anything properly, not even who they themselves were.
