Yudhiṣṭhira–Śrutāyu encounter; Cekitāna–Gautama clash; Abhimanyu pressure; Arjuna’s redeployment

The verse highlights kṣatriya-ethics: once a righteous command is received, honorable warriors respond with clear assent and act decisively. It underscores discipline, collective responsibility, and the linkage between honor (māna) and dutiful action in a war context.
After speaking and receiving Yudhiṣṭhira’s instruction, the assembled valor-proud warriors say “bāḍham” (“very well”) and, as the sun reaches midday, they all depart to proceed with the intended action—implicitly, to engage in battle with determined effort.
