नियमानां फल राजन प्रत्यक्षमिह दृश्यते | नियमानां क्रतूनां च त्वयावाप्तमिदं फलम्,राजन! संसारमें नियमोंके पालनका फल तो प्रत्यक्ष देखा जाता है। तुमने भी यह नियमों और यज्ञोंका ही फल प्राप्त किया है
niyamānāṁ phala rājan pratyakṣam iha dṛśyate | niyamānāṁ kratūnāṁ ca tvayāvāptam idaṁ phalam, rājan ||
Sinabi ni Bhīṣma: “O hari, ang bunga ng pagsunod sa mga alituntunin at disiplina (niyama) ay nakikita nang tuwiran dito mismo sa daigdig. Tunay, ikaw man ay nagkamit ng bungang ito—bilang kinalabasan ng iyong mga pagtalima at ng iyong mga paghahandog na yajña.”
