अहिंसयित्वा ब्रह्महत्याविधानम् / Brahmahatyā incurred without physical violence
ये त्वेवंगुणजातीयास्तेभ्यो दत्त महाफलम् | सहस्रगुणमाप्रोति गुणाहाय प्रदायक:
ye tv evaṁguṇajātīyās tebhyo dattaṁ mahāphalam | sahasraguṇam āpnoti guṇāhāya pradāyakaḥ ||
Wika ni Bhīṣma: Ang handog na ibinibigay sa mga tatanggap na tunay na may ganitong mga katangiang marangal ay nagbubunga ng dakilang bunga. Tunay nga, ang nagbibigay ay nakakamit ng gantimpalang makasanlibo, sapagkat ang pagbibigay ay pinatitibay ng kabutihan ng tumatanggap at ng matalinong pagpili ng nagbibigay.
