न जातु त्वमिति ब्रूयादापन्नो5पि महत्तरम्‌ | त्वंकारो वा वधो वेति विद्वत्सु न विशिष्यते

na jātu tvam iti brūyād āpanno 'pi mahattaram | tvaṃkāro vā vadho veti vidvatsu na viśiṣyate, yudhiṣṭhira |

Sinabi ni Bhishma: “Yudhiṣṭhira, kahit gipitin ka ng pinakamabigat na kapahamakan, huwag mong tawagin ang nakatataas sa paraang pamilyar na ‘tvam’ (‘ikaw’ na walang paggalang). Sa mata ng marurunong, ang gayong paglapastangan ay hindi naiiba sa pananakit—ganyan kabigat ang kasalanan ng paghamak sa karapat-dapat igalang.”
